We started by lifting tiles along each row and fixing the roof hooks to the rafters, so the weight of the array and the wind load sit on the roof structure rather than on the tiles. The tiles went back over the hooks once they were set.
Rails went on next, set straight so the panels sit in even rows flush to the roofline, and the panels were clamped to them row by row. The DC cable runs were clipped to the rails and kept out of the sun.
The finished array runs the length of the main roof, with a second array on the neighbouring roof plane.
